"'El Clásico' is always special"
A Spanish final, and not just any final, a baby El Clásico. Shortly after the final whistle we spoke to the Real Madrid u19 head coach Luis Miguel Ramis.
Congratulations with your tournament win. What did you think of the final?
"A final against Barcelona is always special for us. I think it was a good final against a strong opponent. We played well according to our football concept and are happy to win this first tournament of our pre-season training."
How have you experienced these past few days?
"The organization has been amazing. The pitches were perfect and everybody has treated us perfectly and we hope we can come here next year to defend our title."
Were you satisfied with the performance by your players?
"We only started our pre-season training a week ago and in this tournament you have to put in a lot of effort. They are not fully fit yet and to play six matches in this heat in three days is difficult. They played as a real team and we were very happy with their performance this weekend."
