Real Madrid wins the final of the Otten Cup

The Spanish team of Real Madrid wins the special edition of the Otten Cup-tournament. In the final they defeated their fellow countrymen from Barcelona by scoring from a penalty in the second half.

Real Madrid started by pressuring the defenders of Barcelona. They delivered a few dangerous shots on the goal, but no big chances were created. During the first half the match did equalize more and more, but Real Madrid was still the team with the best opportunities to score.




In the second half the view on the match did not change a lot. Barcelona was trying to reach their fast wingers, but the goalkeeper of Real Madrid was not challlenged a lot. After 15 minutes in the second half, Madrid's Christian Josué Artiles Cedrés was fouled in the penalty-area and the referee decided to give Real Madrid a penalty. Christian Josué Artiles Cedrés impeccably scored the penalty and Real Madrid is leading by 0-1. Barcelona tried to equalize the game but Real Madrid still was controlling the match and just gave them a few small opportunities to come close to their goal.
