Individual awards
In this edition of the Otten Cup the individual awards are also rewarded.
The awards are supplied by Supporters Vereniging PSV and are rewarded to the best players of the tournament.
Best goalkeeper: Mile Svilar (RSC Anderlecht)
Although the young goalkeeper only played two matches for RSC Anderlecht, he proved his skills were of a high level. An excellent performance given he is only 14 (!) years old.
Best defender: Luan Leite da Silva (Red Bull Brasil)
A modern defender: physically strong, quick and someone who sees the game. Gave good guidance to the Brazilian defense.
Best midfielder: Albert Gudmundsson (sc Heerenveen)
Seeing what is going to happen and combining that with a good technique and speed, this Icelandic midfielder was able work himself out of the negative spiral his team was in.
Best attacker: Seyi Ojo (Liverpool FC)
He was a constant plague for the defenders. Physically very strong and quick it proved very difficult to get him to lose possession of the ball.
