Red Bull Brasil wins Otten Cup!
The final of this years edition of the Otten Cup was between Brazilian side Red Bull Brasil and English side Liverpool. After this final it was Red Bull Brazil that took over the throphy from last years winner Real Madrid
Early on in the first half Red Bull Brasil took the lead after a mistake in the Liverpool defense. This lead gave Red Bull Brasil wings and they managed to quickly score another goal. A beautiful goal it was. Viana de Matos curled the ball into the top corner from a great distance 2-0. Liverpool tried to recuperate, but was unsuccesfull. Half-time score 2-0.
In the second half Red Bull Brasil scored again, this time via Sakamoto 3-0. When moments later Phillips received a red card, after a dangerous two footed challenge, Liverpool had no chance anymore. Despite playing with their hearts, they were unable to score. The final ended in a 3-0 win for Red Bull Brasil who are crowned Otten Cup Champions 2014!!
Red Bull Brasil is the third club from Brazil winning this tournament after EC Vitoria (1995, 1996, 1998, 2004-2006) and SC Internacional (2007).
